About Giving Tuesday / ATR's Annual Hay Fundraiser

After the Races thanks you for supporting our horses as we head into the most difficult months of the year. Now is the time to stock up on the hay needed to feed the horses throughout the winter. Over 600 pounds of hay a day is fed and consumed by the 20 horses of ATR!

We anticipate it will cost $30,000 to feed the horses throughout the winter months and you can have a very real impact by donating any amount that you are able.

Every $12.50 donated pays for one 40 pound bale of high quality alfalfa.
$180 buys a 800 pound bale of alfalfa that feeds horses in one field for approximately one week.
$400 will feed one horse for one month!
$7,500 will feed the entire herd for one month!
